Ontario high school students
All Ontario high school students must meet the following admissions requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- Minimum of 6 Grade 12 university (U) preparation or university/college (M) preparation courses, which must include all required courses as specified for each program.
- Overall average of 78% on the best 6 Grade 12 courses, including required courses. Higher averages are required for admission to programs in which the demand for places by qualified applicants exceeds the number of places available.
- Repeated courses will not negatively affect your application.
- An Admission Information Form must be filled out for most programs.
- If your first language is not English, see UW's English language requirements.

- Any two grade 12 U-level courses from: Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science, Mathematics of Data Management, or Physics.
